Had the pleasure of having Ted and his 11 year old son James join me for a half day fishing charter on the Mosquito Lagoon! They are vacationing in Orlando visiting Disney World but made the short drive to fish with me!
Our morning started out with a spectacular sunrise and a plentiful amount of Speckled Sea Trout on the flats, caught on top water lures!
As the sun, got higher, we moved in to an area holding tarpon and snook!
This was both Ted and James’ first time saltwater fishing and they were eager to catch as many fish as we could!
We switched lures to a soft plastic bait as we got into position for snook and tarpon!
FISH ON!
Both James and his dad caught lots of snook and Ted went 1 for 7 on Tarpon!
We had a tremendous day together making father son memories that will last a lifetime!
