Tarpon, Snook, Trout and a Redfish for Martin!

We began our day at the Bairs Cove Boat Ramp at Haulover Canal in Titusville Florida, just an hour east of Orlando and the Disney and Univeral theme parks.
Heading into the Mosquito Lagoon, and witnessing first hand an incredible space coast sunrise, we both new that our day was gonna be a memorable one fishing the flats.

It didn’t taken long for Martin to take his first fish, and the first piece of our grand slam puzzle, a beautiful redfish!

After playing with some tailing reds and boating fish, we moved in search of a spotted sea trout!

Our second spot, was covered in bait and we knew it wouldn’t take long! Martin pitched his DOA Cal paddle tail in white rigged weedless up towards the shoal and boom fish on! A nice 20in trout!

Next it was all about snook and tarpon and I knew just where to go!

We switched boats to a 2.75″ DOA Shrimp in pink!

Each snook we caught was is in the 12-15 inch range but this is exciting as we are gaining a strong new snook population! Very thankful for that!
Lastly the Tarpon! They were rolling all around us but being picky. Quick switch to a DOA CAL SHAD and fish on!

Thanks Martin for joining me on my skiff!
